The USS Aegis is a Norway Class vessel assigned as the primary support craft to Starbase 118.

Motto
The USS Aegis' dedication plaque bears the inscription: "Ut incepit fidelis sic permanet." This is the ancient Earth language Latin for "Loyal she began, loyal she remains" or Historically the motto of the Province of Ontario on Earth.
