Resachi Ariadust is a Cygnian female with blond hair and blue eyes, and captain of the TRS The Thunder of Nations, a converted cruiser into an armed merchant raider. However, as she has rejected her clan, she only goes by Resachi.

The oldest daughter of Fairioni and Ksharion Ariadust, Resachi was born in 2359. When she showed a very unstable psionic aptitude, and after it became clear that Resachi was very much her own self, even as a child, she was fostered out to the Hakashri clan. Whether it was her own indepenent nature, or this event, Resachi chose to be clanless and nontraditional during the Dominion War. While a lot of events that took place in the Cygnet sector were classified during the Dominion War, it is known that Resachi served in several covert operations designed to protect the Elenian shipyards. Shortly after the Dominion War, she became a merchant-captain under the aegis of Ksharion Hakashri, who was then an upcoming shipping line owner. It was during this time she met her mother and sister again, and grew close to her sister, Ceciri Ariadust.

Protective of her sister, as she saw that the younger woman was being led by her mother into her motivations, Resachi also gained many grey-market connections during this time. It wasn't until the pirate attack on the convoy in 2388 that she left, after realizing her sister was unable to think coherently. It was in this time she acquired the TRS The Thunder of Nations. While she has operated primarily towards the core on the fringes of Federation space, the rising piracy in and around the Shoals drew her in, although it was in truth a cover for her to keep an eye on her sister, after finding out what had happened to her.

As willing to help Starfleet as any other "occasionally public minded citizen", she aided in the capture of Harvey Marths in 2397.[1]

In 2398, it was revealed she was a member of the Cygnetian Self Defence Force, assigned to the Shoals.[2]
