Directions
This is my version of the Sidebar template for characters. For a floating version of this that stays on the side of the page (useful for loooooong pages) check out Template:KolkFI.
It can use any of the major Pips. If you want the "FI" (Future Imperfect) combadge-pips, but you run across a rank I haven't uploaded yet, I do have them (Unfortunately, the creator didn't make Marine ranks, but I've contacted him and requested them, so they may become available in the future.), so just leave a message on my talk page and I'll upload it for you a.s.a.p. I'm on the wiki almost every day.
To use the template, type the following on the top of your character page:

Any optional variables (Species, Gender, Ship, etc.) that you don't want to use can just be left out, as in don't even bother including them; they're extraneous.
