Gallery feature

Take a look at this. Feel free to use it on the Ronin crew page if you want. It's an easier way to maintain a gallery. More info at Wikipedia:Gallery tag, and Wikipedia:Extended image syntax. --Wolf /talk page 01:17, 2 June 2007 (CDT)

Minor edits

Minor edits should be;

  • Correcting a spelling/grammar mistake
  • Resizing an image
  • Correcting a name/file destination/category

If it's not one of the above, it's not normally a minor edit. :) ♣ Deliera talk 23:00, 25 July 2014 (CDT)

Be sure also to check your user preferences, specifically under editing preferences. You may have it set to mark all your edits as minor by default. This unfortunately though makes it difficult for admins and the wiki ops team to monitor changes on the wiki accurately. ◄ Rich(talk page) aka Lt.Cmdr. Rahman ♫ 04:19, 26 July 2014 (CDT)

Existing Course Numbers

Hi Jack! I love the courses and departments you're adding! However, please be aware if you change the course numbers of existing courses, you are causing other simmers' transcripts to now have their course numbers no longer match up with the course catalog. ◄ Rich(talk page) aka Lt.Cmdr. Rahman ♫ 16:35, 31 July 2014 (CDT)

Also, HIST120: Vulcan History appears to cover the same ground as the three Xenology courses:
  • XEN120: Introduction to Vulcans
  • XEN220: Early Vulcan history through the atomic age
  • XEN320: Vulcan History from the Atomic Age through the Modern Era
Perhaps if it were tailored to a more specific part of Vulcan history, such as just during the Reawakening? ◄ Rich(talk page) aka Lt.Cmdr. Rahman ♫ 01:58, 1 August 2014 (CDT)

Upgrade issues with TOC class

Please see the message I left with Jordan regarding the latest update to the wiki causing issues with those using class=toc in their tables. In most cases, we should be able to just substitute toc with infobox to restore the old look. ♫ Rich(talk page) aka Lt.Cmdr. Rahman, Chief of Wiki Operations 18:58, 31 August 2014 (CDT)

Crew History Table issue

Took a look. It's actually not an alignment issue. What's going on is that your table is putting in another row for that last column even when you haven't specified anything because the "hidden" additional rank and date tables are adding cells. Thus, I removed all possible line breaks to prevent that. However, then there was an issue with creating new line breaks if a third or fourth rank was called for. This is a limitation with the wiki coding, but I've placed a workaround by inserting a hidden character to force a line break. Read more here.

Used a different invisible character (). Seems to be working now. ♫ Rich(talk page) aka Lt.Cmdr. Rahman, Chief of Wiki Operations 09:52, 10 November 2014 (CST)

LCARS Sidebar Template

Wondering, were you going to include the {{Crop}} functionality in your sidebar templates? I really like using your templates, but the crop template to get a close-up doesn't seem to work without leaving [[Image]] and 100px at the beginning and end of the IMAGE line. Dr. Skyfire (talk) 18:00, 11 November 2014 (CST)

Well, IMO, putting in {{Crop|ImageName.png|width|height|vert|horiz|zoom|link}} myself might be the simpler option. I don't want to overly complicate things for you. Dr. Skyfire (talk) 09:30, 25 November 2014 (CST)
Tried it, tested the model here. Don't think it worked. Dr. Skyfire (talk) 10:17, 25 November 2014 (CST)

Pips template: FC Cadet 2nd Class-4th class

Heyo. Wanted to know if there were plans to update the pips template with Cadet 2nd through 4th class images in blue, as these don't seem to work. I just tried it, and got a broken link. I like this pip style, and was idly curious. Dr. Skyfire (talk) 10:43, 15 November 2014 (CST)

CHEntry template

So, where do you place the "Notes" information? You explain the RTREntry stuff on the RoundedTable page, but not the CHEntry stuff. Just wondering. -Varaan (talk) 11:39, 1 April 2015 (CDT)
