SOC - Strategic Operations Center
The SOC is like that of Stellar Cartography but with a more Intel vs. Combat roll. The front main room of the SOC is has computer stations with Intel, Strategic Operations and Mission Specialty Officers working together. Both the Chief Intel Officer and the Mission Specialist can often be found here.
Beyond the Research lab is the Holo Dome. A smaller version of Stellar Cartography. The Mission Specialist or Intel Officer can stand on the "Mound" and watch the battle/fight unfolding and coordinate with the bridge to help advise of what is unfolding.
The Holo Dome can also be used for S.A.R.
