This template takes an image for a forbidden species and adds a red border around it so that it can be displayed in a similar fashion as a gallery image with the added benefit that the image now links directly to the species and not to the image itself!

Normally, you could link an image directly by using the link= parameter as explained here, but the gallery format of the SB118 wiki currently does not support this feature.

How to Use This Template:

  1. Let's say you want to create a gallery picture for the Quantum Singularity Lifeforms. Find the name of the image you want to use (in this case, "File:Quantumsingularitylifeform.jpeg") and the name of the article for the species (in this case "Quantum Singularity Lifeforms").
  2. Enter the following wikicode: {{ILI-F|Name of the Image File|Name of the Article}}. Thus, in this example, we'll enter the code as {{ILI-F|File:Quantumsingularitylifeform.jpeg|Quantum Singularity Lifeforms}}.
  3. Verify that you get this image created:
Quantum Singularity Lifeforms
Quantumsingularitylifeform.jpeg
Quantum Singularity Lifeforms

Remember, this particular template is for forbidden species of the Intelligent Lifeform Index.
