Zoeey is 3 minutes younger than Engrid. Gentle and shy she is complete opposite to strong and outgoing sister. | |||
Both were promised to husbands and while Engrid refused marriage after they finished school, Zoeey accepted a gift and got married fast. Zoeey really liked Guthro and she believed they can have good marriage, but it didn’t work. As soon as she got pregnant, he left their home and she never saw him again. When she gave birth to a son, his family let her keep the child since it was not daughter, but later when Guthro vanished they demanded Jan and since they had better lawyers won a battle which hurt Zoeey a lot. To help her Engrid took her on a vacation and there Zoeey met Jarmaine. It was a love at first sight and life seem great again. Zoeey returned home to finalize divorce and Jarmaine was supposed to arrive in a month with his parents. She was organizing a wedding when she got a message about the shuttle accident. Only 2 shuttle occupants survived, Jarmaine’s mother and one little girl. | |||
Completely broken Zoeey left Betazed and joined Starfleet. Engrid followed her to keep an eye on Zoeey as she always did and soon decided to join herself. | |||
When she lost a battle for her son because she was prone to accidents, shock of it blocked her telepathy and empathy. It returned with time, but loss of her love made same damage. While it did return, she never admitted it, but raised her mental shields letting only her sister pass through it. She was able to convince even Engrid that she can't access her telepathy and even empathy any more. | |||
