Zalkon

Zalkon is a class-M Planet near Sector 9569 and the Zeta Gellis Cluster. It is the homeworld to the Zalkonians, a technologically advanced people whose ships can sustain at least warp factor 9.72 and are not intimidated by Galaxy-class starships. Their technology includes a paralysis field that strangles the crews of nearby opposing ships.

An introverted people, the Zalkonians desired isolation from other powers. Some people on the Planet Zalkon have shown signs of metamorphosis into non-corporeal creatures but this process has been outlawed on Zalkon and Zalkonians rarely complete the transformation.

The Government on Zalkon rules over the Zalkonian Suzerainty and is known to be a repressive and heavy handed government.
