The Year of the Commodore Commemorative Coin recognizes members who were active when the majority of active Commanding Officers in the StarBase 118 fleet held the rank of Commodore. Upon introduction of this special event, two-thirds (six of nine) Commanding Officers had attained the rank, designating over five years of command experience.
To be awarded, members must have been active and in good standing between the dates of September 18, 2021 and December 31, 2021.
