Backstory

Xaviere was born into a very "untraditional" Vulcan household. His mother was very Vulcan, but his father was somewhat of a "revolutionary" who sought tore-introduce the value of emotions into the Vulcan people and who wanted to break down some of the old Vulcan traditions.

Indeed, the name "Xaviere" was inspired by his father's human best friend, met while working on a StarFleet research team (violating normal Vulcan naming conventions. ) It is important to note, Trivok, Xaviere's father, was not military in any way. He was a civilian physicist working with StarFleet on their various research projects. Xaviere broke with his bond-mate just before he chose tojoin StarFleet. He felt that she represented the "old life" and wanted to start anew. Naturally, Xaviere was condemned for this, but he was never too popular with the Vulcans to begin with.

All in all, he is a very curious person and enjoys learning new things. While at StarFleet Academy, he studied "Command Studies" focusing on politics and diplomacy. Xaviere's aspiration is to command a StarFleet Vessel or to join the StarFleet Diplomatic Corps.
