Personal History
Phanale is the eldest son in a big family. He's used to having people around him constantly and, growing up, loved to engage in his species's favourite pastime - arguing. In fact, it was an argument with his father, Fissip, that ended up with him enrolling in Starfleet Academy in the first place, partly to prove a point about his abilities, partly to get away from his six siblings. Phanale gravitated towards engineering and science in the Academy, having a natural talent for tinkering with all things mechanical, where he has maintained consistently high scores. His argumentative nature and sometimes abrasive personality have often led other cadets to avoid him - both a blessing and a curse for the Tellarite. Although he loves to have his own space now he's away from his busy family, he finds he becomes lonely very easily.
