Thomas Reacher is currently serving as a Engineer in the Andaris Task Force.
 
Not all ranks are available in all colors. Use full rank names (except for Lieutenant JG and Lt. Commander, and Lt. Colonel). Pipstyle can be changed from Default to DS9 or Slanted. Born on Mars, both Parents Laura and Tommy worked at the federation shipyards as engineers.
 
Thomas spent most of his youth living and going to school between the Utopia colony and the Utopia plantica yards above in orbit depending on what his parents where working on at the time, his parents had met during the galaxy class project, they both worked in the field of propulsion but from very different aspects, his father Tommy worked on sublight engines, thrusters and impulse drive while his Mother Laura was the warp engine specialist. She had once argued with the then Commander Sisko of the latter DS9 fame about the size of the engines in the Defiant class ship he was designing at the time.
 
Thomas had the blood of two great engineers running through his veins and became adapt with federation engineering systems and protocols, he also loved to fly shuttles and atmospheric flyers whenever he could and was a skilled pilot.
 
Growing up next to a fleet yard gave Thomas an interesting perspective on the state of Federation, during the bad times, when the borg attacked or when the dominion attacked Starfleet would change the type of ships being built or if war came close enough, it was all about repairs.
 
Joining Star Fleet Academy Thomas took courses in Engineering and Advanced helm control with a view to being the best combat engineer he could be.
