Trimesters

In this section, I assumed that you had to have at least 3 "semesters" to each year to squeeze in all this info over the course of 4 years. I don't think this is too difficult to assume, however, when you consider that this is a "military" (yes, I know the debate over military or exploration for StarFleet) academy. These kids probably don't spend too much time on "summer break," and I doubt that the holiday break is more than a week-or-two, considering the diverse range (or complete lack thereof) of religions. As such, if you think of the normal American college semester, and squeeze them together by cutting a few weeks off both, you could probably come up with another equal length semester.

Plus, I'd also assume at least one or two more hours in the day for normal classes. So probably something like 8-2 as a daily class schedule. --Wolf 10:42, 29 May 2006 (CDT)
