This allows the junior officers to always get 1 on 1 help, praise and pointers whenever it's needed, whether that's three times a week or once a week. This ends up far better than if they were to wait until the end of the month for an evaluation from me as CO; it also gives the senior players an OOC responsibility. In this way, once you are a Lt or Lt.Cmdr you may become a mentor and gain a taster of dealing with OOC issues long before you reach Commander rank/FO status.
