Is this species really 'permitted'? Given its extremely hazardous nature, plus inability to function in almost any part of Starfleet, I would imagine it would be 'restricted' at least. :Yup, believe it or not it is. And I wouldn't call the species completely non-functional. They are known to be great pilots... I would say they are on par of being on the same difficulty of play as lets say, a hologram?
