Although Kellin is a T4 telepath he is not very comfortable with his ability. He was only able to willingly use his telepathy up until the time when he was kidnapped by the [[Breen]]. While held captive by the [[Breen]], he was only able to tap into his telepathic prowess when he was instructed to during diplomatic meetings at the colony on Portas V. Since the Breen are a four-lobed species, Kellin could not read them at all. Kellin spent most of his adolescent life in mental silence. When he was rescued and taken to Earth to be taken in by the Rothchild's, Kellin could "hear" a flood of thoughts that he had not been able to before. This sensation was overwhelming at first. Over time, Kellin has been come used to reading people, and Kellin is slowly starting to become accustomed to the mental noise of the galaxy. | |||
