Cart'hen III: Difference between revisions

A Federation research team visited the planet in 2413 and found that it had developed into a truly unique culture. It now had 6 distinct groupings or cultures. Each city, mining facility and the nomads who had relearned how to survive in the deserts now had their own distinct form of government, culture with very few similarities.

On stardate 238504.04 a major upheaval took place within the government of the city of Mith. The leader of their council of 11, a suspected criminal by the name of Gavik was assassinated. At this time a team of Starfleet officers from the [[USS Eagle]] was on planet undercover, searching for Gavik to arrest him for questioning. One of the team, a [[Tel-ar, Tal|Lt. Tal Tel-ar]] was arrested by members of the city Enforcers, a quasi police force and charged with the crime. On stardate 238504.30 members of the crew were sent back to the City of Mith. This time the team used an old smugglers ship to approach the planet. They were going to pose as mercenaries for hire but upon entry into the planet's atmospher the ship had a series of malfunctions and crashed. While crossing the desert they were attacked by a pack of wild Targ's. Once they reached the city they quickly ran out of time and had to make a run for it.
