While assigned to the USS Ronin Will matured as an Officer and a individual. He was promoted twice while serving on the Ronin gaining the ranks Lt Jg and full Lieutenant. Appointed to Chief of Security he has begun to realise that there is value in looking for non violent means to resolve conflicts. Despite their initial encounter where Will tried to toss her out of a staff meeting as a Security threat their relationship has slowly blossomed.
