Daniel Wood: Difference between revisions

Daniel knew what to do with his life as young as six. His father inspired him to become a Starfleet officer, but his mother wanted him to become a physician. In high school he achieved top grades, and was classed as a very hard working, conscientious person, who always put others first. He was known for constantly questioning teachers and sometimes coming out on top. As a member of his school's running team, he competed in many events.  Whilst at Buckie High School Daniel made a friend for life, [[Mann, Kristopher | Kristopher Mann]]; they have continued to support each other through their chosen careers.  When Daniel broke the news to Kris, that he had applied for the academy, he was devastated, and this in turn affected Daniel. They both mutually agreed they would still be there for one another even when they had parted.  They see each other as much as possible, but it is difficult given Daniel's chosen career.

Daniel went into denial over his father's death and vowed to avenge the loss. He overcame his denial through an unlikely bonding with a young Klingon boy, [[Artok | Artok]].  They formed a friendship that could never be defeated, and both boys stayed in touch despite going their separate ways.  As a result of this friendship, Daniel has become very fluent in Klingonese and enjoys many Klingon rituals.
