Daniels final year was probably his best after his continued success in class and top marks. He prepared himself mentally for the Kobayashi Maru and Psyhc Test. Daniel also proved highly suited to the role of a Security Officer having gained top marks in his Command test. His teacher Lt.Cmdr Sidney Riley was later to become his first Officer. After succesfully completing all three tests Daniel proudly accpeted his graduation and subsequent promotion to Ensign.
