Seja left the Conny to take on a new challenge as Chief of Security of a struggling department. At first she enjoyed the challenge but after a while she found it frustrating and lonely as she struggled to changes she wanted. | |||
Seja was seconded to intelligence for a mission involving tracking down who was supplying weapons to xenophobic Bajorans. She did well and made some good connections and was easily persuaded to stay undercover long term given her current difficulties as chief. | |||
Then after 16 months under cover she was in too deep and too attached to the cause. She given up a lot for it. She made a mistake, blew her cover in the hopes of capturing the leader of the group. But it went wrong her fellow operative was nearly killed and she found herself demoted and on medical leave. This was classified. | |||
For the next few months, she was depressed, moving between short-hall freighter job and bar, pulling in all those connections her and her father had to keep herself busy. Finally with no where to go she ended up on her eldest brothers doorstep on Bajor. She stay in the Vedek guest quarters for a couple of months, slowly recovering but still lost.
