==Description==

Mostly Human appearance with these exceptions: they are all very slight, thin and wiry. They are shorter than Human average, approximately 1.5M tall. Their slightness would indicate undernourishment in a Human, but it is normal for them. Their skin color always has a heavy metallic sheen to it. Colors vary from golden to silvery to coppery. All Emisans have tails, usually just over a meter long, broad and flat.  

==Physiology==

Emisans have two stomachs and two hearts. They have significant twitch fibers in their musculature, making them extremely quick from a stop.  

===Tails===

Emisan tails are an essential part of their communication style and capabilities. Even though Emisans have a full spoken language, much of the content and emotional color comes from the position and movement of their tails. A tail movement or change in position while speaking can indicate the difference between a jest and an insult.  

===Reproduction===

Emisan males and females have absolute biological control over their own reproduction. Both males and females have the ability to permit or prevent conception, as a result sexual activity is more casual among the Emisans.

Emisans tend to live in tribes or bands that can range in size from several hundred to many thousands.  

Arranged marriages are the custom. But since Emisans have absolute biological control of their reproductive systems, marriage does not include sexual exclusivity in their culture. Emisan marriage does include the exclusive right of conception, bearing, and raising of children however.
