After meeting Harrison on the bridge on the Indy on her first mission, Sam thought he was cute but didn’t think much of it until they ran into each other on the train. They got to talking and Sam took a chance, asking him on a date. He happily accepted and they spent a wonderful day in the holodeck going on a hike. After Frontier Day things between the two were tense after Sam gave Harrison a Borg beatdown. Things are still awkward as they try to proceed forward.
Sam met Niev on Frontier Day. In the midst of the worst day of her life, she was introduced to the timid Science Officer. Later that day they would both be assimilated by the Borg and become Six of Eleven and Seven of Eleven. The two have yet to talk much about what happened that day, but the time they spent together on Earth afterwards would be forever memorable. Matching tattoos, ice cream and arguing about their favorite planets were just some of the things they did to cope with the unfortunate situation they met in. Sam quickly latched into Niev as one of her best friends, whether Niev knows that or not is to be determined.
