Leenaya (Lee for short) is the daughter of Elara and Maron Edrei. Her mother, as a Starfleet diplomatic officer, often moved to different planets. Leenaya thus mostly grew up on Betazed with her brother and her dad, a civilian doctor whom she got her passion of medicine from. Leenaya developed a close bond with her father, learning basic medicine skills from him. Her relationship with her mother was more distant, as Elara’s duties frequently kept her away. | |||
When she was a teenager, Elara was stationed on Earth. They thus moved to San Francisco to join her. That was a significant change for Leenaya, coinciding with the development of her telepathic abilities, as well as Rylan’s departure for Starfleet Academy.
