|LOG= I have returned from Miri IV relatively unscathed, I did have somewhat of a headache after my telepathic adventure but I haven't felt any other lingering effects of being connected to so many minds. I am curious if anything will present itself in due course.  I haven't used my abilities in such a way for a very long time-- and even then, that was under controlled conditions during my training. It's hard to believe in my first venture outside of the Academy I was asked to use them in such a way. Needs must, I suppose. If this is an indication of what this posting is going to be like, the stories my mother used to tell me don't seem to be as farfetched as they once were. It has been a baptism by fire, as the humans say. A strange idiom, but one that I feel fits this situation most appropriately. I'm back on the ship now, so hopefully I will have time to collect my thoughts before we are whisked off on another adventure. :: Eliana paused, then added with half-a-laugh:: I thought being posted to the Station would mean I was in my office a lot... who knew?
