After getting a snack, a bougatsa krema (a sweet pastry filled with a thick custard), Lhandon shares his thanks for always having his back. The conversation shifts through various topic, including Nilsen's diplomacy role play and prospects, and his perspective on her capataincy.
After some prodding throughout the conversation, Lhandon shares that he believes that the whole crew is behind her and that she deserves to be a full-on Captain. Lian then she reflects on how weird her path was to the big chair. Meanwhile, while Lieutenant Arlill he makes his way back to the ship, handling a supply error involving self-sealing stem bolts instead of the required matter/anti-matter injectors, he spots Rouiancet and Nilsen and becomes curious about their interaction. During this observation, Arlill has an internal dialogue with Henri, his inner voice, who speculates on Nilsen's motives and whether he might be vying for Arlill’s position. As the pair walked toward him, he slipped into the crowd to remain unnoticed.
The pair continue conversing, Nilsen sharing that he has a new boyfriend, Eli Kovacs, an engineer on their ship. Rouiancet congratulates him, and they discuss the early stages of his relationship.  As they discuss where to visit next, they land on the Arcade, with Rouiancet encouraging Nilsen to spend quality time with Kovacs during their leave.

Radek reports to the Security Department Conference Room, where Walker begins her interrogation.
Walker questions Radek about the nature of the tests conducted on prisoners by the Zet. Radek explains that the tests were detailed scans, mainly neurological for him, and he did not witness any deliberate harm to the prisoners. Walker remains suspicious, pressing Radek for more information about the Zet's motivations and their study of prisoners. Radek suggests that the Zet were trying to assess the prisoners' value for potential buyers, but he admits he is not sure.
Despite Radek's honest answers, Walker continues to question him rigorously, which makes Radek uncomfortable. Walker emphasizes the importance of being thorough and expresses skepticism about Radek's quick reinstatement after being a prisoner for over a year. Radek apologizes for any perceived disrespect and attempts to defend his honesty, but Walker remains unconvinced.
Ultimately, Walker decides the interrogation is over and orders Lieutenant Dynevor to escort Radek back to his quarters. Radek leaves, uncertain about his future and feeling that Starfleet Intelligence still has many questions about him.

During their workout, Caras performs a series of stretches while Nilsen engages in deep squats.
Lhandon notices Lieutenant Toxin Arlill, who is finishing his workout with a companion named Henri, and decides to introduce him to Morro. Henri, now with a corporeal form, introduces himself to Nilsen and Caras as an officer down in Waste Reclamation.
