Thoray was born and raised on the home planet of the Andorian, his parents were a highly successful soldier of the Imperial Guard who fell in love after a few nights being holed up in a skirmish between small factions.

As th'Vhavor grew older, his way of seeing life changed, reaching a place where the will of his parents was not the same as his own, he wanted to be part of a militia, yes, but staying in the Andorria for his whole life was not enough.

This thought came to a realization once a small starship ship arrived at the planet for supplies, this made him realize that his future was not with the Imperial Guard, so at that moment, after having passed a test to join the guard, he made the decision of joining Starfleet.
