Dalissa was born the eldest daughter of two to Alesand and Helani Alenari. As a child, she was always very caring and nurturing, and could often be found tending to wounded animals whenever she found them. As she grew older, she became increasingly fascinated with the healing arts, even studying the ancient homeopathic techniques of her people as an adolescent. As a devout follower of her goddess, Dalissa joined the Sisterhood of Light which devoted itself to the works of The Artist, hoping to focus on the art of healing. She was restless, however, and after several years there, she would be expelled for not conforming to their ideals. Instead of returning home, Dalissa applied to The Krzexxi University of Science and Medicine in the Krzexxi capital of Toprera, and while there, she was exposed to all sorts of alien cultures that she had only heard of before. Becoming quite fascinated with these other races, quite contrary to typical Rodulan nature, she soon began a personal study of them. And that was how she met the Starfleet officer who would eventually recruit her to join. After a year of processing paperwork with the Rodulan government and the rigorous testing of the Starfleet entrance exams, Dalissa found herself boarding a shuttle for a Starfleet vessel that was in the nearby area and would convey her to Earth. She is now ready to graduate and just has to get past that last obstacle: The final exam!
