* '''Dislikes:''' Unkindness. Dishonesty. Cardassian architecture and interior design. (To be clear: He doesn't dislike Cardassian people. He's never met a Cardassian. He just thinks their choices in architecture and decor make rooms less approachable.) The Borg.

* '''Negative traits:''' Naive, overachiever, very chatty, has a difficult time with the concept of "the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few" because he can't separate the few from being part of the many. Can be a little too personal with people. Somewhat impulsive. Usually not impulsive to his own detriment, but when it is, it's usually an impulse that borders on pridefulness. Most recently: Struggles with his own toxic positivity. He can tell people that he thinks they should be open with their emotions and talk to people about things so they're not bottling everything up. But when it comes to his own negative or extreme emotions, the idea of sharing them scares him now. He has an image and he doesn't want people to worry about him. It's a mix of a big trauma response after the Assimilation Incident and social mirroring of the humanoids around him over the years.

But when it comes to his own negative or extreme emotions, the idea of sharing them scares him now. He has an image and he doesn't want people to worry about him. In some ways, he is insecure about being an Aurelian, but he would never tell the average person that. Because it's not like he doesn't want to be an Aurelian, but being the only Aurelian present in most places he goes, and being surrounded by mostly humanoids of some sort... makes him feel inadequate, or out of place. Sometimes he fantasizes that more Aurelians join Denali Station. But more often than not he has unsettling dreams where he is no longer Aurelian because he thinks it would be easier that way.
* '''Ambitions and Goals:'''
** To do what he can to continue to deserve his Lieutenant promotion, and any promotion he may get in the future. Also to do his best at his job as Head of Infrastructure Development, work on his leadership skills. He'd like to feel like he's contributing as much as he can, helping people in whatever way he's able, and doing what he can to make any place he ends up better than he found it.

**His other goal is one that came with the move to Denali Station. A goal of self-acceptance and a release of insecurities that he picked up over his years in Starfleet. He knows he can't go back to exactly who he was before the academy, and he can't go back to exactly who he was before the assimilation. He will always have quirks and possibly neuroses that align with those experiences now. But he wants to reintegrate things he thought he had to hold back. Weird Aurelian traits he enjoyed about himself before he started feeling like others were uncomfortable with them. Before he started feeling that if he didn't wear his closest approximation of a humanoid mask people would not want to be around him. And he wants to do that while accepting that he doesn't need to go back to anything that no longer serves him, even if that means Aurelians will also find him a little odd. He wants to truly love himself again. Weirdness and all. Which would perhaps put him in his most Aurelian state as there's nothing more Aurelian than love.
