Ceilidhs' time at the academy was a time of independence and drastic learning curve for her. Learning had always been enjoyable, as growing up at home, most of her learning was hands on. At the academy, a lot of time was spent interacting with the LCARS system, or on holodeck, or just plain reading upon reading. For a hands on learner, this at times proved quite challenging, and Ceilidh was forced to learn in a way that didn't always suit her. Managing to pass the academy, she moved from the level of cadet to ensign (as her [[Academy Transcript]] show).
