			:I agree. Helm tends to disappear, other than regular checkups on teh station's position. Operations becomes the all encompassing departments, where "helm" is only the aforementioned afterthought, communications is also a sub-dependent of OPS, but of much more importance, engineering is (and always has been) a sub-department of OPS, likewise security. If "helm" needs more to do, than it takes a more "airport"-like approach with scheduling and monitoring incoming and outgoing vessels. -[[User:Varaan\|Varaan]] 09:04, 4 May 2007 (CDT)
