While the Korri have declined to submit to examination by any outside sources a trade expedition of 4 vessels spent over 3 years inside the Federation. During this time observation and discreet scans by various different scientists have provided a glimmer of just how this might work. It is believed that their ability dampens extreme emotion in most individuals near them. The range differs from Korri to Korri and their seems to be a multiplier effect when a group of Korri are close together.
