-Although Alex was enjoying his time among old friends his good friend of his who used to work with him as a teacher at the academy requested him as a First Officer on the USS Atlantis. Eager to serve on an Intrepid class ship Alex accepted the offer and moved closer to home.
+Disaster struck the USS Athena. Forcing most of the crew to head back to the Alpha Quadrarnt. Alex and several shipmates were offered a position on the USS Atlantis. Here he was reunited with his friend Brell. The two knew each other from several academy trainigns they had given to new recruits. Both lacking experience at command they took charge of the ship and headed off for the Beta Quadrant.
