Anjar Thoran/Biography: Difference between revisions

Anjar was born in the Hedaya Province on Betazed on Stardate 236208.21 to parents Elian and Lissi Thoran. His mother, however died in childbirth. He spent his first few years in the care of his father's parents until his father was asked to visit Antosia to mediate a peace conference. While there, Elian met and fell in love with Oriana. The two married a few months later. Oriana quickly became a second mother to Anjar, accepting him like her own son. From a young age, Anjar enjoyed going on adventures with his older half-brother Zennor and his younger half-sister Elora. They spent many days exploring the wilderness of their homeworld. Together with their friends, they would swim at local ponds in the summers and trek through the trees in the fall. When he reached his teenage years, Anjar discovered that he enjoyed building things. He would often perform repairs for his neighbors and others of the community. At age 22, he met the woman who would become his wife, Alia. He took on an apprenticeship to save for her dowry. They were married in a traditional Antosian ceremony and he was overjoyed when he found out he and his wife would welcome a baby into the world. However, Alia had a difficult pregnancy and died in childbirth. The baby, a little girl named Liara, survived and became the center of his world.
