While the diplomatic mission was taking place, a situation was developing on the lower decks with some people beginning to experience some kind of mental breakdown where they were regressing into past memories. Anath began consulting with Counselors [[Sindrana]] and [[Didrik Stennes|Stennes]], discovering that the issue was something relating to telepathy. Meanwhile the ship crashed into an asteroid and the deflector dish exploded. Unable to help with emergency surgeries due to being infected, Anath worked on researching the telepathic disease after treating the injured [[Nathaniel Wilmer|Lieutenant Commander Wilmer]].
