Tu'Peq joined [[Starfleet Academy]] on stardate 239002.27. After graduating from the University of Alpha Centauri, Tu'Peq was offered a post-doctoral fellowship at the Sorak Institue of Theoretical Physics at UAC. Before accepting the fellowship, Tu'Peq wanted to travel; he had spent his entire life in school and while he spent many of his formative years on a Vulcan Colony on a Federation Border Planet, he wanted to see how the other colonists lived.
