Varaan: Difference between revisions

Varaan's primary drive in life is engineering, and has been for over half a century. The interest started in his youth, and has guided his career choices. He has deviated into the Intelligence field several times, both in and out of Starfleet, but somehow has always returned to Engineering. The Advanced Starship Design Bureau (ASDB) recognizes Varaan as one of the top minds in '''''Starship Architecture''''' and '''''Systems Integration'''''. Varaan has either been involved in or lead teams that designed such starship classes as the [[Cutlass class]] Carrier for Starfleet, the [[Crossbow Starfighter]]s, both the [[Brendan class]] Escort and the [[Cobra class]] starfighter jointly designed with [[Krieger, Jacob Russell|Admiral Krieger]], and the ''Shendarin'' class Science vessel contracted by the Vulcan government. He is routinely consulted by the ASDB on various projects, and offered a permanent position there, but for some reason that he is unwilling to share, he would much rather continue his life journey on randomly assigned Starfleet vessels.
