The Columbia has been sent to the Valorian system to consider making first contact. One of the primary goals of Starfleet is to seek out new life and new civilizations and that is essentially our mission. |LOG=It is with great trepidation that I leave the only ship I have known as a Starfleet officer. The ''Darwin'' and Captain [[Reinard, Greir|Reinard]] were extremely good to me. I found myself a wet behind the ears Ensign when I arrived at the Darwin and found myself leaving as the Chief Medical Officer and a Lieutenant. I was deeply going to miss that ship. However, I don't find myself fearing the change. I am going to the Columbia as the CMO walking in as the man in charge of the department. I know what is expected of me ((thanks to the Darwin)) and I will not let my new Captain down nor that of the crew of the Columbia. | |||
