Deep Space 224: Difference between revisions

Originally commissioned in 2320, Deep Space 224 is a starbase located in [[The Borderlands]] close to [[Klingon]] space, and nearby to a neutron star by the name of Klatax.  The station was almost mothballed and on a closer list for several decades until the [[ma:Dominion War|Dominion War]]. The Station was reactivated into service.  

The station was once seized by the Klingon's and was held as a Trophy for a little less than a year until retaken by the Federation.   

Deep Space 224 is currently the only station in the [[Borderlands]] that is Active.  There is a small researche outpost in The Borderlands. Outpost 89 Delta is an Intelligence Research Platform.  It is less than one light year from Deep Space 224. Not heavily armed, it is protected by the six runabouts assigned to it and patrols from fighter craft of Deep Space 224.
