Ruchard is a human male and was born on [[New Scotland]]. He had a number of brushes with the law starting as a teen but never served any time and was quickly recruited by the [[Orion Syndicate]]. He moved around a lot, advancing quickly up the ladder until he was put in charge of his own crew. When the Federation started cracking down on them he branched out and joined the [[Black Daggers]], an independent sub-group within the Orion Syndicate. | |||

Further investigation revealed that it could not have been him unless he had an identical twin as he was serving time in a [[Klingon]] penal facility. The Federation requested that he be moved to one of their facilities and the Klingons agreed. During transport, the vessel he was on was attacked and he managed to escape.
