The combination of Caitian and Antican DNA -- in this instance -- produced a unique individual. What you are looking at is a being with most of the outward appearance of a Caitian in body, and covered in head to paw in fur. The head however, being a more canine-like, but with a fine fur that Caitians have around their face. The ears are tall and pointy, placed on top of the head. No outward appearance of gender is noticeable -- presumably if Vanth were to start lactating this might partly change -- but through a genetic abnormality, presumably due to the unique combination of parentage, Vanth has a fully working set of both sets of genitalia.
