While Donovan is a genetically engineering soldier, she is nothing like Kahn noonien Singh. Her native people were far advanced of humans in genetics and while they did gene engineering it was nothing like what happened prior to the Eugenics Wars on Earth with Kahn. She is not bred for superiority like Kahn was, she was born naturally and had some genetic engineering done on her while still in her mothers womb. These alterations would give her stamina, moderate strength high tolerance for pain and night vision. Her native People had visors too, mainly for when they were offworld, like all Trelan's they saw each other in infra red, this would allow them to see body tempratures ranging from black to grey and all the yellows and oranges up to red. The Visors they had allowed them to see people in the normal sense. Her body chemistry was infused with samples of Human DNA from a Trelan probe sent to earth; unlike full bloods of her people she has a standard human lifespan, she was bred to serve the Trelan armies as an Elite Commando. The only thing she shares with ther Trelan anscestry is the Red eyes and mark on her forehead. Donovan was removed from her parents womb before the full genetics of Trelan skin pigmentation took hold and was placed in a stasis birthing chamber, where tactics and all known ways of killing most combatants was given to her by synaptic suggestion, she was supposed to be the first of a new breed of Trelan soldiers; it turned out she was the only one as something happened shortly after she was placed in the chamber. | |||
She is built to survive without breathing gear in most land based environments, Radioactive environments is not one of them. She has the ability to breath underwater and in most liquid environments without abn EVA suit or a breather. Part of her genetic engineering has gifted her with gills on her back, they are below the shoulder blades and tap directly into her lungs, she has basically an amphibian ability and is immune to all known human diseases and some alien viruses. But like most sentient beings she can be killed by all known means that any being can be killed by. She also bleeds red where the Trelan used to bleed blue/green blood. | |||
