During an encounter with Ensign Azin, Chythar experienced a Dokkaran mind meld which was uncontrolled by its initiator (Azin.) Skyfire found himself in an argument with his Ensign self while he was sedated, which led to the discovery that Chythar's genetics had been effectively re-written during the meld, making him telepathic and empathic. For a human, it is unusual. His final rating is T2/E2, though he doesn't know this. With his best friend Sal Taybrim, his status is T4/E4 because of a pre-existing connection. | |||
