Admiral Jaxx is Sundassa's boyfriend, and Shel made quick friends with him when Shel revealed Sun's plot to see what it felt like for Jaxx to get shot. Instead of Sun plotting with Shel to find out, Jaxx and Shel plotted to teach her a lesson, hoping to curb her curiosity.

:Shel grew up on the Faranster farm with his younger siblings, Sundassa and Yogar. While growing up he studied science, his interest in genetics and chemistry. First it started with plant genetics but he grew past that to studying genetics of animals and finally Antosians. His genetics studies helped him with his chemistry and vice versa, especially while working to help his family with their farm, ensuring their crops were good and their animals were healthy.

:It wasn't until she called him a few years later and asked for all her belongings, that he thought of possibly joining Starfleet himself. The thought started as a way to keep close to his sister, as a guest at first, maybe he would ask if he could stay on in exchange to make sure she was alright. However that was just how it started, and eventually he asked if he could transfer his commission to Starfleet completely.

:Shel is generally easy going, he is observant and thinks of creative solutions to problems. He doesn't mind going head to head with his sister and will accept the fallout from it. His secrets are his own to share, and he does in his own time. He is protective of his family, especially his sister, and sometimes goes to extremes to teach her lessons she needs or wants to learn.
