* '''Quarters''': Sparse, his walls decorated with his achievements and a few photos of his parents. He keeps his ceremonial sword hanging above his bunk, to remind him of his duty when he wakes up and when he sleeps. He also keeps tropical fish in as big a tank as he is permitted, finding their movement almost hypnotic, and far more hypoallergenic then some horrible furry thing. Always kept at 32 degrees centigrade.

* '''Physical Limitations''': Speed, or a lack of. He can’t keep up with a decent athlete, preferring instead to rely on his massive strength to find solutions. He also does not have a great deal of dexterity. In Security situations, he’s the visible muscle while someone else would play the chaser.

Hatched into the Military cast (his blue tone indicative of this) Tatash has always been following a military career. While the Gorn are a civilised race, their culture still adheres to old traditions of being born into roles based on both colour and lineage. Raised as a solitary child due to his almost noble standing, he has strove to do well by his father and serve within the Gorns military forces.

The hardest adjustment for him has been letting go of his former rank and privileges, and understanding the nuances of Federation culture where anyone regardless of birthright has the ability to excel. While he is not against the idea, and indeed in some ways respects it rather then challenges it, it's still something that is an alien concept.
