+Despite having interacted with him only few times, Tristam's experience with the [[Trill]] soured somewhat when he, Tan, and the rest of their team were left stranded on Bocasa. Confident that Captain Reynolds was responsible for what had happened to them, Tan was quick to tell Tristam otherwise. A few minutes later, Tristam used Tan's tricorder to rig a crude communications device to get back in touch with the Garuda.
+Tan was unwittingly transported aboard the Garuda with a mine digging into his thigh. Without hesitation, Tristam immediately beamed the explosive off both Tan and the ship, causing Rahman to become aggressive with the belief that had Tristam left it be, they would have been able to find out where it came from. It is unclear whether Tristam beamed the mine off the ship for Tan's well being, or out of concern for the well being for the entire ship.
