:The Rekarian are a hybrid species of native Rekarians and Romulans that have been able to survive the Hobus disaster not only fairly unscathed but in a position that many would consider to be more favourable to their long term future. Just like the [[Reman]] and the [[Dabh'aelisu]] (Also called the Dark) they are considered to be a sub-species of the [[Romulan|Romulans]] who are themselves considered to be a sub-species of the [[Vulcan|Vulcans]].
