Though of mixed Bajoran and human ancestry, she appears more human than Bajoran. Tall and thin, with long Auburn hair which is usually worn down when off duty and pulled back in a pony tail when on duty, she wears the traditional Bajoran earring. She wears these for the same reason she observes the religious customs of both her parents.
