-After her Cadet Cruise she was assigned to Starbase 118 under Captain Nicholotti. Unfortunately, before she'd had time to settle, Dany was recalled to Earth to provide testimony against one of her classmates who was caught cheating on final exams and falsifying records. After what Dany considered a week of torture in the courts on Earth (most of that having to bunk with a rival of hers, an Andorian with a penchant for cold air) she returned to Starbase 118 just in time to see the crew return from their mission.
