Evelyn was born ten years after her older brother Christopher. Although her parents would never dream to call her a mistake, there was little doubt that she was not intended consequence. While growing up, Eve demonstrated both a vivid imagination and a disappointing inability to make easy friends with her schoolmates. Her parents, rather than being concerned about her preference for make-believe friends over real friends, encouraged her to find happiness wherever she could. As she grew up, she made a few close friends, but struggled understanding, and being understood by, people at large.
